The Council of the European Union announced its negotiating position on 23 October for the proposed “EU Inc” framework. It aims to simplify business formation and investment across the single market.

The proposal envisages online registration within two days at a maximum cost of €100. This is a negotiating position on proposed legislation, rather than confirmation that companies can already register under the new system.
